The card shows two lovers in a passionate embrace on a desert beach. They are entranced by the moon. The water is calm which tells me that everything is okay in this relationship for now but the desert tells me that this is one where the relationship might not grow as very little grows in the desert. One of the lovers is being bitten by a snake and injected with venom another tell tale sign that this relationship is doomed. The snake is a sneaky, stealthy creature so there might be some underlying deceit going on as well. In the Deviant Moon deck it doesn’t look very promising for our lovers as I definitely don’t see this as a very positive card.

So suffice to say that I was a little disappointed when I pulled this card this morning since I am in the middle of a separation. But that being said, by the way that I read this card, yes, it’s very true that my marriage is now over. But there are two words in the description that are positive and resonated with me right now and that is Love and Harmony. Even though this is a stressful and emotional time for all involved, it is even more so for those that didn’t ask for this to happen in the first place. It’s up to me as a mother to not let the stresses of this situation be poured out on them. It’s up to me to keep showing my boys that I love them very much and to keep up the harmony and balance that I am desperately trying to achieve in this house. This card reminds me that thing are over for my husband and myself but as a parent I have to remember that they are stuck in the middle of this and to keep the stresses down to a minimum as much as possible.

Three artisans are at work in the studio. Although they often act as a unified team. Their unique personalities come through in their creations. The three pentacles makes up for their individuality. In numerology the number 3 stands for completion, imagination, creativity, energy and self-exploration.

If you notice that each of the characters on the card are working on each other, which speaks a great deal that in order to accomplish or get something done you need help from others…a collaboration of sorts.

As I take a more in-depth look at the card, I examine the card a little more closely to see what else it can tell me. The Character in black tells me that there might be something mysterious and unknown about him as he reminds me that he’s a witch or something like that. The second character that is an ivory bone color to me signifies that there might be a slight taint to his purity as he looks like an angel, given that he has wings and all and might be quite superior at times. The third character is grayish in color which may mean that he expresses fear, fright and maybe even depression and confusion at times.

The maroon curtain behind them signifies courage, bravery and strength that it took to get 3 very different and very individual characters to come and work together to create and make something fantastic of and for themselves. I know that the description in the little white book says that they’re in a studio but the curtains also remind me that they are on a stage. Like maybe they are on display for the world to see. As each are in 3 different stages of artistic abilities, painting, drawing, and sculpting.

When I first saw this card in the deck I didn’t care for it and there was something about it that disturbed me. It’s funny when you start to look more closely at the cards that you pull and begin to dig deeper. I don’t mind this card so much any more. But as the 3 characters are working towards achieving a certain goal, I also have a goal that I want to see come to fruition in my life. Also being a big on the Law of Attraction, I wanted to know what I needed to do in order to achieve this and see my dream come to life. In order for this to happen, judging by the card, I may need to step out of my comfort zone a bit and possibly  look for or except help from others. This card also suggests that I may need to get creative with my ideas and efforts.

I am a very passive person. I hate stepping on people’s toes or causing unwanted confrontations. Sometimes I would rather do something myself no matter how difficult it may be just to not be a bother. I may have to approach people, who are characteristically different from myself in order to see my dream come to life.

The eagle, lion, bull and angel are indicative of the 4 aces in suit. The naked woman in the center of the card is draped in red ribbon. Laurel leave surround her. She holds two wands in her hand. The number 2 is both duality and balance. The surrounding laurel leaves mean victory. The red ribbon means raw energy in which isn’t that how the 4 Aces start out? The color red also has deep spirituality as well as intense passion and rage.

The World being # 21 in the deck, in numerology, 21 means a turning point in your life. It is associated with responsibilities that you need to own up to.

So how did this card relate to my day? It was a simple day really. I had a goal this morning to get a few things done and had to do some running around and I fulfilled them. I got done everything that needed to get done. Nothing big or major happened today. I am starting to feel content with my current situation and I know that it’s going to still take some hard work to get through it. But I know it’s doable and I very well capable as well. I am beginning to like this new so called freedom and that aside of being a mom, a lot of my daily stresses are gone. I have bigger responsibilities now and I think that it’s terrible and sad that life had to come to this, but I think that after all is said and done, a happier me will re-emerge.

This card also reminds me of Greek Mythology. Charon ferrying his passengers or souls across the river Stix to the underworld. In some of the myths heroes paid Charon a coin to take them across the river and journey into the underworld and only to return alive still by the boat of Charon…where no doubt that a venture into the under world only to return left our heroes remarkably changed.

Getting this card two days in a row, the tarot is definitely telling me something. That maybe it is time to jump into the boat, swords and all and let the ferryman lead me to the land where I can leave my troubles behind me. It’s time to heal from past hurts that keep resurfacing again and again. It’s time to take the passage into the unknown and let go of my fears. Fear is the only thing keeps me held back and restrained. This card is telling me that it’s okay to let go, it’s time.

1.What am I attracting now? (Due to how I am currently vibrating.)

Due to how I am currently vibrating, I am attracting the beginnings of some very good things in my life. I woke up this morning thinking that no matter what the day was going to bring, I was going to be positive and grateful. I wanted this to spread over to my children and I believe that it has as my 7 yr old gave me no trouble about getting dressed and ready for school this morning. Even my 2 yr old seems happier due to my positive attitude. The day has good potential even if that means that I have to get creative about how I am going to keep up the positivity that I have declared is going to rule in my house.

2.What do I need to do to raise my vibration to the next level? 7 of Pentacles: This card suggests that I should take a step back and reflect on the progress that I have made so far in my life. It also suggests that in order to raise my vibration to the next level that I continue to develop and grow in my ability to remain positive and have a centered balanced life.

3.What will I attract when I raise my vibration to the next level? 6 of Pentacles:

This card indicates that when I raise my vibration to the next level that I should share what I have gained with others. To be generous with what I’ve learned. I feel that the Law of Attraction can spread like wildfire if you keep applying it to your life. In subtle ways I am teaching my children this. That even if you offer one person a smile or a hello it can go a long way and have amazing benefits -a chain reaction that you might not ever get to see, but it is there and that’s what I am trying to achieve.

Today I decided to try something a bit different. Instead of pulling 1 card I pulled 3 for my daily draw. Well I don’t about journeying into new places or boldly venturing into the unknown as it is snowing like nobody’s business, so I don’t think I am going anywhere as the Chariot suggest. But since I am home alone by myself today, it gave me an opportunity to do some readings with feedback over at the AT forum. I absolutely love doing readings and I am finally glad that I got to dive in and use my Deviant Moon cards which I think are so awesome!

But when I wasn’t doing readings, I was trying to be creative like the Page of Wands indicates and work on my new website. I am not that great with HTML but I am learning. I want to make the site more interesting as it’s quite bland at the moment. I also want to topurchase my own domain name when I get paid next week….*sighs*

The 7 of cups suggests day dreams, imagination and having flights of fantasy…well, it is getting late  and I am settling down to relax so hopefully soon I will be in dreamland where my flights of fantasy can take off. But that being said, it was more of a lazy day really.

I complete forgot about this card until I was doing dishes. On the side of my fridge I have a picture of my 7 yr old when he was 4. He’s sitting on a carousel horse completely unaware that I am watching him and snapping pictures. He is so happy and having fun. It’s one of my favorite pictures of him. When I was doing  the dinner dishes, I saw the picture differently this time and it suddenly filled me with sadness. It got me thinking of the last time that we were all together as a family. My soon to be Ex and I decided to surprise the boys a couple of years ago and take them to Bush Gardens in Williamsburg, Virginia. Everyone had a blast. It was so much fun. But sadly, it was the last time as a family that we were all truly happy. It just got me thinking, with everything that’s been going on lately, that I would love to see my boys happy like that again. That whole week that we were down in Virginia kept replaying over and over in my head the rest of the night.

It wasn’t until I went back to look at my daily draw that I remembered what I had pulled. It was definitely a night filled with nostalgia and longing for things that are now long gone.

More than a few of these cards do sow some minor nudity…so if that offends any one than this deck is not for you. But if it doesn’t, then I highly recommend this deck to any and everyone. And you know that means? Tarot readings for some feedback or exchange over at the AT forum starting this Friday using this deck. I am so excited. I can’t wait to really dive in and try this deck out.

1. What lays on your dark depths,what is unseen, what I stumble against in the dark of night – 4 of Swords:I stumble against trying to maintain centeredness and some sense of clarity about who I am and what maybe right in my life. I do find it difficult to quiet the mind and soul which is much needed. There is a balance here in which I need to find and put to use.

2. What will begin to show, to arise – Ace of Pentacles:  A new or more prosperous way of being through stability and consistency can achievement bring visible results. Having persistence and faith is worth the effort. Also having gratitude once the effort has been achieved is a good thing.

3. What will illuminate the dark path? The key in the night – 9 of Wands: I had the stamina to face all that life had to throw at me and at the end I am still standing. Instead of being closed off and defensive, this card suggests that I open my heart to trust again. None of us can ever really truly say what lies around the corner, but I can take what I have learned to help me face my problems head on.

4.  Myself – Shadow Card – 6 of Wands: It’s worth remembering that our achievements are not of our own but that success grows on the backs of others. It’s okay for me to feel good about what I accomplished, but not to take it too far. The 6 of wands tells me that success is right around the corner and that could mean that I can also triumph over myself. Victory doesn’t always mean beating someone else – No ego inflating allowed. (It’s kind of ironic that this card was from daily draw as well.)
